The S2 Duomatic from Sturmey Archer is a 2-speed gear hub that can be shifted by coaster. Some will still know them from the old folding bikes.
The 2-speed Duomatic, made by Sachs back in the day, was a tried-and-true way to make folding bikes ''shift'' without much effort. Sturmey Archer uses the same technology, but also offers variants with a freewheel!
