Why are bike shoes so often uncomfortable? The founders of Afton asked themselves this question and present an innovative flat pedal shoe for 2018: the Keegan. The Keegan is a lifestyle shoe on the outside, technical and functional on the inside. It thus combines maximum comfort with maximum performance on the trail. The highlight is the monodirectional insole, which can only be bent in one direction. This allows for comfortable walking, while it stiffens while standing on the pedals and offers optimal support on long descents or hard landings. The unidirectional inner shank supports the foot on impact with the pedal, aiding energy transfer when pedaling and reducing vibration.

The sole made of Intact® Rubber in hardness A60 has very good grip properties and was designed with durability in mind. Along with many other features, the Keegan is a shoe for those who value function and comfort in equal measure.
